Blue Green Planet Project funds and coordinates tree planting in places in Canada that wouldn’t be planted otherwise, including land burned by wildfire in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. We were founded by people who have spent their working lives on the ground in reforestation.
Our projects are led by Indigenous partners, including Nekote LP and Shoal Lake Cree Nation, and planted by crews from those communities. We raise the funding, coordinate the work and report on it, including the seedling survival assessments on our Annual Reports page. Our work was featured on CBC’s The National in May 2026. You can read more in Our Story.
Our guides are checked against our own project records and against public sources such as Natural Resources Canada and the Competition Bureau. If you spot an error, email farron@summitplanting.com and we’ll correct it.
